Scoter - Winter 03/04 had approx. half a million Scoter at Cape May Point - here are just a few!

There were several estimates of Half a million Scoter at Cape May Point 03/04.How do you count that many? 6000 birds per minute (which looks like this) for two hours and that gets you close.
